Lorene M. Willis

	Lorene M. Willis, 85, of Cutler, passed away at 8:10 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2003 at Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Mrs. Willis had worked at the Pinckneyville Garment Factory and at Trico High School as a cook.  She was a member of Loyalty Missionary  Baptist Church in Eden.  She participated in the Cutler Senior Citizens, which she operated for 15 years.
	She was born August 20, 1917 at Pinckneyville, the daughter of Tom Davis and Ella Mae Freeman.  She married John D. Conway in 1940 and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1980.  She later married Fred Willis on October 29, 1990 in Paducah, Kentucky.
	Surviving are her husband, Fred Willis of Cutler; two daughters, Carolyn (Husband Mike) Higgerson of Cutler and Peggy (Husband Bob) Stanton of Pinckneyville; two sons, Floyd (Wife Lila) Ashby of Percy and John (Wife AnnaMarie) Conway of Pinckneyville; one step-daughter, Darlene (Clarence) Misselhorn of Campbell Hill; one step-son, Fred Willard (Wife Susie) Willis of Norman, Indiana; three sisters, Lucille Craig of Cutler, Isabelle Langwith of Cutler and Helen Hartel of Cutler; one brother, Tommy (Wife Betty) Davis of Cutler; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and eight step-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her first husband; parents; two brothers, George and Harold Davis and two sisters, Lula Sullivan and Jane Carter.
	Funeral services were Monday, February 17 at 11 a.m. at Missionary Baptist Church in Eden with Rev. Tom Foster officiating.  Interment was in Cutler Cemetery.
	Friends called Sunday at McDaniel Funeral Home in Percy from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Monday at Loyalty Missionary Baptist Church in Eden from 9 a.m. until time of services.
